The GameTruck™ was founded in 2006 by Scott Novis in Tempe, Arizona. It is the Original and World's First Mobile Video Game Theater™. It started out as a fun birthday party experiment for family and friends that quickly turned into a busy weekend business. As the first of it's kind, the GameTruck™ is the Original Mobile Video Game Theater™. Still based in Tempe, Arizona, the GameTruck™ and its staff are committed to providing high quality entertainment at an affordable price.

The GameTruck™ aims to bring people together to enjoy gaming in a multiplayer environment and to provide gamers with the best gaming experience available. Starting with only one truck in August 2006, there is now a fleet of GameTrucks™ throughout the Phoenix area. Currently GameTruck™ is selling franchises in 35 states and the company is expanding operations into the Los Angeles area.
