What Happens at a GameTruck Birthday Party?
15-30 minutes before party time: The GameCoach arrives, parks the trailer (video games) or sets up equipment (laser tag, foam, etc.) in your driveway or backyard. They handle all setup — screens, consoles, controllers, arena boundaries, foam cannons, whatever your party includes.
During the party: Your child and their friends play under the supervision of the GameCoach. For video games, kids rotate through tournament brackets, free play, and cooperative challenges. “Seriously the easiest and coolest party I’ve ever done between all 3 of my kids! Booking was simple and painless, the truck was AMAZING and the person who was there to set everything up and help the kids was just the BEST (can’t remember his name, I’m sorry, but he deserves loads of recognition)! Instead of having to monitor and worry about 15 kids in and out and needing stuff for 3 hours, I was even able to catch up with a few parents for a while. Anyone who’s ever thrown a party knows how rare that opportunity is cause you are always busy! The kids spent most of their time in the truck and we broke up the 3 hours with some nerf wars in between (worked well to get them moving briefly). The rest of the time they gamed their hearts out, only coming inside for food and then heading back to the truck again. The truck itself was HUGE and so well set up inside. I was worried it would be a bit small but when it pulled up, and especially when I went inside, I was so thrilled! Special mention (again) to the gent who was there. I checked in with him a few times and asked if he was handling the chaos ok. He said he’s all good and was so super chill the whole time! I stressed that if the kids got out of hand, he must let me know but he was so good with all of them that there were really no issues. Even with different levels of gaming experience and even a variety of ages, it all just worked well! So all round the perfect party experience and my son rated the party 9 and a half out of 10 (only losing half a point because of a nerf issue). How far in advance should I book a birthday party?
For birthday parties, 4-6 weeks in advance is ideal. Saturdays and Sundays fill up fastest, especially during peak birthday season (spring and fall). If your child's birthday falls on a popular weekend (right after school starts, before holidays), book even earlier. That said, we can often accommodate last-minute bookings — check availability online or call your local operator.
Do you do birthday parties for teenagers and adults?
Absolutely. While our most common birthday party is for kids ages 7-12, we regularly host teen birthday parties (13-17) with age-appropriate game selections and competitive tournament formats. Adult birthday parties happen too — especially for gamers in their 20s and 30s who want a nostalgic throwback or competitive gaming experience. What if it rains on the birthday party day?

Can GameTruck come to apartments, parks, or community centers?
Yes. Video game trailers need a driveway or parking lot (about 60 feet of space). For apartments or homes without driveways, we can often park on the street with permission.
