Trailer Rental
A fully equipped, climate-controlled mobile gaming theater — delivered to your door with a certified GameCoach. No setup. No cleanup. Just play.
What Is a Video Game Trailer?
A video game trailer is a self-contained mobile gaming theater built inside a fully climate-controlled trailer. Think of it as an arcade on wheels — except better. GameTruck pioneered the concept in 2006 and has delivered over 375,000 events since. The trailer pulls up to your home, school, church, or any venue with street-level access, and your party starts the moment the doors open.
Inside, guests find multiple HD flat-panel TVs, the latest consoles — Xbox, PlayStation & Nintendo Switch — and a massive library of 200+ multiplayer games spanning every genre and age group. Surround sound, LED mood lighting, and comfortable seating make it feel less like a trailer and more like a private gaming lounge. And because it's fully insulated and climate-controlled, the experience is perfect year-round — air conditioned in summer, heated in winter.
“We bring the entire arcade to your driveway — you just unlock the fun.”

How a Video Game Trailer Party Works
Your certified GameCoach arrives before your guests, parks the trailer, powers up all gaming stations, and has everything running before the first kid walks in. They handle the entire event — opening ceremonies for birthdays, tournament brackets, player rotations, and energy management. When the party is over, they pack up and leave. You don't move a single cable.
This is what makes a GameTruck video game trailer fundamentally different from renting a bounce house or booking a venue. Everything is included. Everything is managed. Everything is cleaned up for you. The GameCoach runs the show so you can actually be present at your own party — talking to parents, taking photos, enjoying the moment instead of managing logistics.
Inside the Trailer: What You Get
Every GameTruck video game trailer is purpose-built for multiplayer gaming parties. The exact configuration varies by operator, but every trailer includes:
- Multiple HD flat-panel TVs — every seat has a clear view of the action
- Xbox, PlayStation & Nintendo Switch — the three major console platforms
- 200+ game library — Mario Kart, Minecraft, FIFA, Just Dance, Super Smash Bros & more
- Climate control — heated in winter, air conditioned in summer
- Surround sound & LED lighting — immersive theater atmosphere
- Certified GameCoach — runs the entire event from arrival to teardown
Who Rents a Video Game Trailer?
Parents planning birthday parties are our most common bookers. A video game trailer eliminates the stress of hosting — no house setup, no venue rental, no entertainment to coordinate. The entire party happens inside the trailer and the GameCoach handles everything. It's the easiest birthday party a parent can throw.
But video game trailers aren't just for birthdays. Schools and churches book them for fundraisers, field days, and reward events. Companies use them for team building and company picnics. Community organizations bring them to festivals and carnivals. Anywhere you can park a trailer, you can have a GameTruck experience.
Where Does the Trailer Park?
You need roughly 60 feet of space (about 7 parking spaces) free of hazards and foot traffic. For home parties, the trailer typically parks at the curb in front of your house. For schools, churches, and venues, it parks in the parking lot. The GameCoach manages all positioning. No special permits are needed in most cases — the trailer is no wider than a typical contractor or landscaper vehicle.

Video Game Trailer Questions. Answered.
What is a video game trailer?
A video game trailer is a self-contained mobile gaming theater built inside a climate-controlled trailer. GameTruck trailers feature multiple HD flat-panel TVs, the latest consoles (Xbox, PlayStation & Nintendo Switch), surround sound, LED lighting, and a library of 200+ multiplayer games. The trailer parks at your location — home, school, church, or venue — and a certified GameCoach runs the entire event from setup to teardown.
How many gaming stations are inside the trailer?
Each trailer features multiple independent gaming stations, each with its own HD flat-panel TV, console, and controllers. The exact layout varies by trailer model — some feature 4-5 interior stations plus an exterior TV, others run a different configuration. Every station operates independently so different groups can play different games simultaneously.
Where does the video game trailer park?
The trailer parks at the curb in front of your home, in a parking lot at a school or church, or at any venue with street-level access. You need roughly 60 feet of space (about 7 parking spaces) free of hazards. The GameCoach handles all parking and setup. No permits are needed in most cases — the trailer is no wider than a contractor vehicle.
How much does it cost to rent a video game trailer?
Pricing varies by location, date, and package duration. Most video game trailer parties start around $350-$400 for a two-hour event. Enter your ZIP code on our booking page to see real-time pricing and availability from your local GameTruck operator. The price covers the trailer, all equipment, games, and a certified GameCoach.
Is the video game trailer climate controlled?
Yes. Every GameTruck video game trailer is fully climate controlled — heated in winter, air conditioned in summer. Guests game comfortably year-round regardless of weather. The interior is also equipped with LED mood lighting and surround sound for a true theater experience.
What games are available in the trailer?
The library includes 200+ titles spanning every genre and age group — from Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, and Minecraft to FIFA, Madden, NBA 2K, Just Dance, and Splatoon. The GameCoach selects age-appropriate titles for your group and can switch games on the fly based on what the guests want to play.
Does the trailer need to plug into power at my location?
No. Every GameTruck trailer runs on its own onboard generator — completely self-contained power. There are no extension cords to run, no circuits to worry about, and no venue power required. The GameCoach starts the generator on arrival and shuts it down at the end. This is what makes the trailer work at curbs, parking lots, fields, and venues without electrical infrastructure.
Can I rent a video game trailer for a school or church event?
Absolutely. Schools, churches, community organizations, and nonprofits book GameTruck video game trailers regularly for fundraisers, carnivals, field days, VBS events, and end-of-year celebrations. We carry full insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance (COI) for your venue. The GameCoach manages age-appropriate game selection and all supervision.
